We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated Structural Shell Construction Foreman to join our growing construction team.
This is a hands-on field position for someone who understands structural shell construction from the ground up and takes ownership of the jobsite.
Responsibilities
* Supervise day-to-day structural shell operations on site
* Coordinate shell crews, subcontractors, equipment, and material deliveries
* Read and understand structural and architectural plans
* Oversee foundations, pile caps, grade beams, columns, tie beams, masonry, forming, reinforcing steel, elevated slabs, and roof structures
* Verify rebar placement, dimensions, elevations, embeds, and structural details prior to inspections and concrete placement
* Coordinate required inspections and engineer/site visits
* Maintain quality control and identify field conflicts before work proceeds
* Maintain production schedules and keep crews moving efficiently
* Enforce jobsite safety, cleanliness, and organization
* Communicate daily progress, manpower, upcoming work, and field issues to project management
Qualifications
* 5+ years of structural shell construction experience
* Strong knowledge of concrete, masonry, reinforcing steel, formwork, and structural construction
* Ability to read structural plans and details confidently
* Strong field leadership and problem-solving ability
* Organized and capable of managing multiple trades simultaneously
* Reliable, accountable, and willing to take ownership
* Strong understanding of South Florida construction practices preferred
* Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
