The Alvarez RD-10 acoustic guitar is part of an emerging vintage at its finest. Already over 25 years old, in ten years this thing will probably sound even more amazing, as the woods get a chance to age and season a bit more.
It was slightly damaged on the bottom front in shipping but was fully repaired (glued, filled/finished with GluBoost), is stable and plays and sounds fantastic with no negative effect on the guitars functionality. Overall, with everything considered, I think it is in good condition. What can I say, it’s an Alvarez and they are sweet guitars. And they have been known to produce a good quality product with fine craftsmanship, consistently throughout the years.
This guitar checks all my boxes and I am selling it at a discount only because of the minor cosmetic factor. I think it has a little more mojo compared to your average guitar.
If you aren’t into the unique wear and tear, you could always slap a sticker on it.
This one is just beggin’ for someone to make it their own!
