Pit/Lab needs rehomed (Mesa)

This is an incredibly difficult post for us to make, but we urgently need to find a foster or permanent home for our family dog of 7 years. We recently lost our home, and after an incident involving him, we tried everything we could to keep him with our family and make the situation work, but unfortunately it just isn’t working anymore. 💔

We want to be completely transparent because finding the right and safest home for him is extremely important to us. He can be possessive/resource guard over food and toys, so we feel he would do best in an experienced, adult-only home without children, cats, or other dogs. He needs someone who can understand his boundaries and give him the structure, patience, and stable environment he needs.

We love him and have had him as part of our family for 7 years, so this is absolutely not an easy decision. We are desperately trying to avoid him ending up in a shelter and are looking for either someone who can foster him temporarily or give him a permanent home. We need to find somewhere for him ASAP. If you are able to help or know someone who may be a good fit, please message me. Even if you can’t take him, PLEASE share this post so we can find the right person for him. ❤️
