We are a small, established company that manufactures precision lighting and electronic products. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Cable Assembly Technician to build cable assemblies and small wire harnesses in a light manufacturing environment.
Hours
Monday–Friday | 20 hours per week
Available shifts:
*8:00 a.m.–12:00 noon, or
*11:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
Responsibilities
*Assemble cable assemblies and small wire harnesses according to specifications
*Read and follow wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and work instructions
*Crimp terminals and install connectors, including Molex and AMP/TE Connectivity, using semi-automated equipment and hand tools
*Measure, cut, strip, and prepare wires to specified lengths and requirements
*Perform soldering as required
*Inspect completed assemblies for proper connections, workmanship, and quality
*Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Requirements
*Prior experience assembling cable assemblies or wire harnesses
*Ability to accurately read and interpret wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and work instructions
*Experience crimping terminals and connectors; experience with Molex and AMP/TE Connectivity connectors preferred
*Soldering experience
*Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for precise assembly of small components
*Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
*Dependable and punctual, with consistent work habits
