We are looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team. We are seeking a dependable, self-motivated individual with strong mechanical skills and experience working on diesel-powered vehicles and construction equipment.
JOB DUTIES
Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and equipment
Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
Perform oil changes, brake repairs, and component replacements
Maintain and repair construction equipment, trucks, and trailers
Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
Keep equipment and work areas clean and organized
Follow company safety procedures and OSHA requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Pay will be based on experience and qualifications
Previous diesel mechanic experience required
Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems preferred
Ability to diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs independently
Valid driver's license required
Must be dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods
Welding/fabrication experience is a plus
Construction equipment experience is a plus
