PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE MAKING AN OFFER.
The Explorer is currently showing a P0732 transmission code, which indicates a transmission problem involving Gear 2 / slipping into second gear. The transmission will need to be repaired or replaced.
Because of the transmission issue, I would not recommend driving the vehicle any significant distance until the transmission has been properly inspected and repaired. It starts and runs, but the transmission issue needs to be addressed.
This is being sold AS-IS with the transmission issue fully disclosed. The $1,900 asking price reflects the transmission problem and the overall condition of the vehicle.
This would be a good mechanic special, project SUV, work vehicle, or parts vehicle for someone who has the ability to repair or replace the transmission.
The Explorer has been maintained over the years, and I have maintenance records/paperwork available. The interior and exterior are clean for a 2007 vehicle, the A/C blows cold, the tires have good tread, and the battery is brand new.
PRICE: $1,700 OBO
I am a motivated seller and will consider reasonable offers. Please keep in mind that this is NOT a turn-key daily driver. The transmission needs attention, and the vehicle is being sold strictly AS-IS.
Serious buyers only. Please read the description carefully and understand the transmission issue before making an offer.
