We are looking for a capable self-starter to handle on-site jobs maintaining and repairing exercise equipment.
The perks:
-Flexible hours, you set your own and we will help ensure that customers respect your schedule. We have automated and online scheduling that helps customers find a time that works, and they can only access the hours that you pre-approve. Need a week or two off? Just block it out ahead of time and no one will bother you.
-Solo work means more time to yourself, and flexible time for breaks and errands during the day. We offer a two hour arrival window, and as long as you arrive within that time frame you will be fine.
-No minimum availability requirement. Only have one free day each week? Max it out with 6-8 site visits and quickly earn an extra few hundred dollars for the week, or take just a few jobs to bring in some more money this holiday season.
-We're here to support you, not micromanage. Follow the checklists and processes, and don't worry about a manager breathing down your neck.
-Competitive pay. EVERY job pays a flat $50, and many can be completed in less than 30 minutes, especially with practice. Some will take longer, but it seems to average out to around $33-$200/hr effective pay rate (pretty much all jobs fall somewhere between 15-90 minutes if you're mechanically inclined and applying yourself). If there is more than one machine on a given job, $25 additional pay will be added for each additional machine.
-Bonus "SPIFs" available if you're able to sign up your customers on a recurring maintenance plan. SPIFS are based on the number and type of machines that get signed onto the plan, but typically range between $8-$300 per account. This is an optional add-on, you are not pressured to try and sell everyone you work with; we HATE high pressure sales environments and like to focus on helping make sure that customers are getting their needs met, but since a contract guarantees more work we feel you should get something extra for facilitating that.
Requirements:
-Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and insurance so you can get to the jobs safely and legally.
-A functional smartphone is required. We use an app and an online knowledge base (with chat support) for job completion and information sharing.
-Common tools. You will need to have the following tools in your possession to properly complete jobs:
*Screwdriver set must include: Philips #2x6, Philips #2x8, flat 3/16x6, 1/4x6, and 5/16x6
