The bed has nine large drawers built into the base, six on one side and three on the other, so it replaces a dresser's worth of storage. The drawers are solid alder with English dovetail joints, finished interiors, and smooth full-extension glides rated to 100 lb. The tall raised-panel headboard and Shaker-style footboard give it a warm, classic look.
