Brittany Residential, Inc. is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support adults with developmental disabilities in our residential homes. Whether you're experienced or just beginning a rewarding career in human services, we'd love to meet you!
As a DSP, you'll empower individuals to live as independently as possible while providing encouragement, guidance, and compassionate care in a home environment.
Mentor Ohio: 1st and 2nd shift
What You'll Do
Assist individuals with daily living activities and personal care as needed.
Administer medications (training provided if applicable).
Encourage independence, choice, and community involvement.
Assist with meal preparation, housekeeping, and maintaining a safe home environment.
Complete daily documentation and reports.
Provide companionship, support, and positive encouragement.
Transport individuals to appointments and community activities when needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
Ability to pass background checks and pre-employment requirements.
Reliable, compassionate, and dependable.
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required—paid training is provided.
