Field Experience: A minimum of 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in civil infrastructure, or pipeline installation. This must include active, safe operation of heavy earthmoving machinery (such as excavators, backhoes, loaders, and trench boxes)
Leadership Experience: At least 1 to 2 years of proven experience leading, directing, and motivating small- to medium-sized crews (typically 3 to 6 workers)
Blueprint and Specification Literacy: ability to read, interpret, and execute work based on civil blueprints, engineering plans, project specifications, and grade stakes.
Utility Knowledge: Deep understanding of the installation standards, jointing, tapping, and pressure testing for storm sewers, sanitary sewers, and waterlines.
