Hello! I am seeking a private rental unit—a 1-bedroom, large studio, or independent ADU/basement apartment—as my current landlord is selling the building. (Note: I am looking for a private, self-contained space or pairing up with a single roommate for a 2-bedroom—not seeking a room in a multi-person house).
About Me:
Reliable & Responsible: Excellent credit score, solid financial history, and an impeccable track record of always paying rent and bills on time.
Lifestyle: Female college student, open-minded, quiet, respectful, and low-maintenance.
Property Care / Labor Trade: Handy and proactive—happy to trade light property labor (gardening, painting, routine maintenance, upkeep) to help offset costs or keep rent at/under $1,000.Single white female with small service dog. I will be relocating to Longview/Kelso area in late December 2026. Any housing or apartments be available then? Im hoping for a small house or 2 bedroom apartment. Please let me know if you are willing to work with section 8. Thanks.Hi! I'm Al and I'm looking for a new home 🏠
What I am looking for:
I am looking for an ADU or 1-bedroom apartment. Ideally looking to be in SE (buckman, hobsford-Abernathy, laurelhurst, etc.) or Southwest Portland (Hillsdale, Multnomah, etc.), but I am open to elsewhere for the right place.
Looking for walkable, near public transit, not by busy/loud streets, 500+ sqft, easy access to a washer and dryer. My budget is $1400.
Bonus (any of the following): bathtub, backyard, patio, high ceilings, storage, large closet, greenery, neighborhood setting
About me:
I am very responsible, respectful, and communicative. I currently work in an environmentally related role and have lived in Portland for two years. I have a high credit score, no criminal history, and I always pay my rent on time.
In my free time I love to bake, do arts and crafts, go swimming, play games and play music (nothing too noisy, just basic singing/synthesizer). I also like to try new restaurants and explore Portland car-free!
I have a small dog (11 pounds) that is very well behaved and has been on a strict training plan for his whole life. He very rarely barks, never has accidents in the house, and never damages furniture or floors. He is a non shedding dog who is meticulously cared for (weekly baths and paws cleaned after every potty break). He is crate trained for times when I am not home.
Benefits of having me as a tenant:
- Pays rent on time
- Great credit score, no criminal background
- Respectful, Communicative, Friendly
- Can share homemade baked goods with you if I live in your ADU
- Don't need a parking space for a car
- Best case scenario for a tenant with a pet
- I have experience house sitting and pet sitting
I would love to hear from hear you, see photos of your available unit, and answer any questions you have for me. Thanks for reading my post! 🙂Hello! My name is Hailey (28F) and my partners name is Martin (25M) and we have an 8 year old cat named Deja! We are looking for somewhere larger to live. Ideally we’re looking for a house to rent or a more spacious ADU. We are both community activist and spend a lot of time in the pdx community! I work with aggressive and suicidal children in and with CPS. I have a bachelor’s degree in sociology and political science. I’m from Oregon but not from Portland originally!
Martin is going to school full time for research journalism at PSU. He goes to school and works as well. He spent a majority of his time in Mexico and has lived in the PDX and surrounding areas for the last 7 years.
Our cat Deja is 8 and all black. She loves to lay around but is very sweet but appreciates her space at the same time. She’s an ESA, hypoallergenic and very petite.
We are both quiet but very friendly and extremely clean. We would like to share our space together and know and respect quiet hours. We spend a lot of our time outside of the house as a part of our community involvement and for his research. Neither of us drink, smoke or do any other activities of the sorts. We of course have no issues with what you chose to do in your personal life!
If you would like any more information please contact me! We’re hoping to move in somewhere before the end of the year but that date is flexible!
