Temporary Associate Attorney, Law Graduate, or Experienced Paralegal (20–40 Hours per Week)
Location: Melbourne, Florida — Hybrid Preferred; Remote Candidates Considered
A solo law practice seeks an associate attorney, law graduate studying for the Bar, or experienced paralegal to provide substantive legal support across a varied practice. The firm’s work includes general corporate and business law, contract drafting and review, corporate governance, regulatory and grant compliance, civil litigation, appeals, probate, and estate matters.
The ideal candidate will have excellent legal writing, research, and organizational skills; strong attention to detail; and the ability to produce reliable work with reasonable independence. Experience using agentic AI tools and project management programs, or a demonstrated ability and willingness to learn them, is important.
Attorney applicants must be admitted to practice in Florida. Law graduates who are currently studying for the Florida Bar are welcome to apply. Paralegal applicants should have meaningful experience with substantive legal drafting and case preparation. Experience in every listed practice area is not required.
This position is intended to be temporary for approximately three months to address specific matters with short-term needs. The anticipated workload is 20 to 40 hours per week, with some flexibility. A hybrid arrangement combining in-office and remote work is preferred, although fully remote candidates will also be considered. Depending on performance, mutual fit, and practice growth, the position may continue and develop into a longer-term or full-time role.
Compensation: Based on experience and qualifications.
