The Behringer DeepMind 12XD revisits the essence of classic analog synthesis — but with modern power under the hood. Designed for today’s discerning synthesists, it blends vintage character with enhanced control, connectivity, and playability. At its core, this desktop-oriented 12-voice polysynth features a true analog signal path with two meticulously tuned oscillators per voice. Each voice is shaped by onboard ADSR envelopes, traditional VCF controls, a powerful 8-channel modulation matrix, and more — all easily sculpted using 26 responsive slider controls and a clear, navigable LCD interface. Take your retro-inspired tones even further with the four-slot digital FX engine, loaded with enough processing muscle to elevate any modern production. And with a contemporary 32-step sequencer, expansive back-panel I/O, and built-in Wi-Fi connectivity, the DeepMind 12XD proves itself as one of Behringer’s deepest and most capable sound-design tools. All it needs now is a fearless sonic explorer to take the reins!
