This H.L. Phillips player piano, serial no. 111153, was a custom-branded instrument manufactured by the Cable-Nelson Piano Company in 1923. The internal mechanisms of the piano were totally refurbished in the early 1990s. The current owner completely refinished the beautiful tiger oak cabinet of the piano in the mid-1990s. The player mechanism is powered by a vacuum box that was installed when it was refurbished.
The player mechanism needs to be repaired because it stops while it is playing, but it can still be played as a standard upright piano. Once the piano is moved, it will need to be tuned. The piano is on the first-floor level. Moving the piano will be at the expense of the purchaser.
The piano is being sold because the owner is downsizing and will not have room for this instrument.
Player piano rolls and bench are available as a separate purchase for very reasonable prices.
Seller accepts only cash in denominations $20 or smaller.
