Employnet is seeking dependable and safety-focused Warehouse Associates to join our team. This position is responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, loading, and shipping products while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced setting, follows procedures, and works well independently and as part of a team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Receive, unload, inspect, and verify incoming shipments.
Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately.
Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
Organize inventory and stock materials in designated warehouse locations.
Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counts.
Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, RF scanners, and forklifts (if certified).
Label, wrap, and stage products for shipment.
Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
Report damaged products, inventory discrepancies, or safety concerns to management.
Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Basic math and reading skills.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Forklift certification is a plus but not required.
Physical Requirements:
Frequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
Stand and walk for extended periods (8–12 hours).
Bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and reach throughout the shift.
Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures.
Perform repetitive movements involving hands and arms.
Preferred Skills:
Experience using RF scanners.
Knowledge of warehouse inventory systems.
Forklift, reach truck, or pallet jack experience.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to meet productivity and quality goals.
