URGENT!!!! Tex is a young, energetic, affectionate and very social boy who loves people and enjoys training, outings and car rides. His owners have made the difficult decision to rehome him through no fault of his own due to conflict in the home and his higher activity needs. He is still an adolescent dog who needs an active, confident handler to provide consistent structure, boundaries, continued training and plenty of physical and mental stimulation. Tex is crate trained and loves his crate, but crate whining has been an ongoing training focus; he has made great progress and will need his new home to maintain his established routine to prevent regression. His history of dog reactivity and over-arousal is very important to consider: although he has improved tremendously, he is not universally dog-friendly, may bully softer dogs, and could thrive as an only dog; we are ideally looking for an experienced dog/sport handler or an active home committed to continuing his development. He knows basic/advanced obedience, very smart dog, social able loves people.
