The Fruit Packer is responsible for packing, inspecting, handling, and preparing fresh produce for shipment while maintaining high standards of quality, food safety, productivity, cleanliness, and workplace safety.
The employee must follow established packing procedures, production schedules, food safety requirements, and instructions from supervisors. The Fruit Packer works as part of a team and must maintain a positive, dependable, and professional attitude.
· Pack fruits and vegetables according to company specifications.
· Place produce carefully into boxes, cartons, bags, trays, or other packaging.
· Ensure the correct quantity and product is placed in each package.
· Handle produce carefully to minimize bruising, cuts, or other damage.
· Maintain the required production rate.
· Keep the packing area organized and free of unnecessary materials.
Pay Rate
Rate of $12.50 for the first 3 months. After 3 months rate could go up to $25.00 depending on Productivity
