Excavation & Trenching • Dig trenches and pits to exact grade and depth for water, sewer, storm, and gas line installations or replacements.
• Expose existing live underground utilities carefully to prevent damage.
Material & Site Handling • Move, position, and handle pipes, shoring, and bedding materials.
• Perform backfilling, grading, and site restoration once plumbing work is finished.
Equipment Maintenance • Conduct pre-start and daily safety inspections on the backhoe loader.
• Perform basic maintenance, fluid checks, and keep the machine clean.
Safety & Compliance • Follow all OSHA trenching, shoring, and site safety regulations.
• Read and interpret utility maps, grade stakes, and blue prints.
