This is a beautiful Hearthstone Castleton soapstone wood stove, handcrafted in Vermont. Soapstone soaks up the fire’s heat and releases it slowly for hours, so you get steady, even warmth instead of the scorching-then-cold cycle of a steel stove. The cast-iron frame and polished stone make it a real centerpiece in any room.

Soapstone panels and top in perferct condition
Large glass front door for a great fire view
Square firebox loads wood front-to-back or side-to-side
Heats a good-sized room or a small home

It sells new for $4,000 or more. This one is ready for the heating season at on third the price.

Pickup only from McLean. The stove weighs about 460 lbs, so buyer handles removal. Bring a crew, a heavy-duty appliance dolly, and a truck or trailer. The soapstone panels and top can be lifted off to make it lighter.
