Job Overview
We are looking for a hardworking and safety-conscious Holiday Light Installer and General Laborer to join our team. During the peak holiday season (October–January), your primary focus will be safely installing, maintaining, and removing custom commercial and residential holiday lighting displays. During the off-season, you will transition to general labor duties, including property maintenance, warehouse organization, landscaping, or assisting with other installation projects.
Key Responsibilities
Holiday Season (Peak: Oct – Jan)
Safely install, test, and remove exterior holiday lighting and decorations on residential and commercial properties.
Work safely at heights, including climbing ladders and walking on roofs.
Measure, cut, and customize lights, wiring, and greenery to fit specific property layouts.
Provide courteous and professional customer service while on client properties.
Troubleshoot electrical issues, bulb replacements, and maintenance calls promptly.
Carefully pack, label, and inventory decorations for storage at the end of the season.
Off-Season (Jan – August)
Assist with general labor tasks, warehouse upkeep, and equipment maintenance.
Load and unload trucks, organize inventory, and prep materials for upcoming jobs.
Perform general property maintenance, light landscaping, or manual labor as assigned.
Maintain clean, safe work areas and company vehicles.
Qualifications & Skills
Physical Stamina: Comfortable standing, lifting heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs), bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions (cold, wind, rain).
Comfort with Heights: Must be confident and safe working on ladders, scaffolding, and multi-story roofs.
Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and possesses a strong work ethic with a positive attitude.
Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (preferred / required to drive company trucks).
Experience: Previous experience in holiday lighting, construction, landscaping, or general labor is a plus, but paid training is provided for the right candidate.
