Must be able to perform at least 2 of the following at a high level and in a safe manner
• Excavate with a dozer in accordance with our approved methods (intermediate level)
• Place fill with a dozer in lifts of a specific depth
• Load over-the-road trucks with a track loader
• Load over-the-road trucks with an excavator (intermediate level)
• Load off road trucks with an excavator (intermediate level)
Must also be able to safely and efficiently operate the following with training
• Pulverizer Mixer
• Motor grader at a beginning level (maintaining haul roads)
• Understand and operate the GPS systems (dozers and excavators)
• Rubber-tired loader
Must also be able to safely and efficiently operate at least 3 of the following with minimal to no training:
• Water truck
• Compaction equipment
• 30 to 45 ton articulating off road dump trucks
• Skid Steers
Essential Functions:
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks
• Labor work as needed
• Work closely with others
• Be able to report to work on time
• Be able to work weekends and work overtime
• Communicate when equipment needs maintenance or repairs
Other requirements:
• Pass pre-employment physical
• Pass alcohol and drug tests
