An established home repair and improvement company in business for 25 years is seeking a dependable, experienced Handyman/Craftsman who takes pride in quality workmanship and treats customers’ homes with care.
Requirements
• Minimum 10 years of experience in handyman work, carpentry, remodeling, or residential repairs.
• Must have your own truck and tools.
• Ability to assess projects and accurately estimate labor, materials, and total job costs.
• Experience with minor electrical and plumbing repairs, within applicable licensing requirements.
• Ability to work independently and meet agreed completion dates.
• Strong attention to detail and professional customer communication.
• Valid driver’s license.
Work Includes
• General home repairs and maintenance.
• Carpentry, trim work, and door installation or repairs.
• Drywall patching and painting.
• Minor electrical and plumbing repairs and fixture replacements.
• Shelving and hardware installation.
• Other home improvement projects based on your skills.
• Preparing job estimates and providing photos of completed work.
Compensation
This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity. Compensation is agreed upon by the job, with weekly payments for completed jobs.
Expected earnings are $800–$1,500 per week, depending on available work and the number and scope of jobs completed. Earnings are not guaranteed. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes and business expenses.
