A somewhat thrashed 1996 Toyota 4runner for sale. This car has been in Washington state its whole life. The first owner swerved for a dog and hit a tree growing out of a stump so the front of the frame is bent as shown in one of the pictures. The airbags were deployed. They did not do an insurance claim so the title is still clean. I am the second owner, bought it in 2007 and has been my daily driver. The odometer doesn't usually work, so I estimate the mileage to at least 400,000 miles. I have not needed to repair the engine other than replace normal tune-up items, including the three Denso ignition coils. Synthetic oil has always been in the engine, including with the original owner. I put in a Toyota steering rack in Nov. 2025. I have replaced other steering parts except upper ball joints. I have replaced the fuel pump and rear axle seals and of course brakes and tires and timing belt twice. The transmission and transfer case have not given me any problems. I replaced the torque converter because I thought it was shuddering but ended up being bad ignition coils. Four wheel drive works well. The a/c is not working because of the accident but I will include the compressor. It needs a new catalytic converter. It comes with a bonus 2 meter ham radio mounted in the dash. The car runs and drives okay, let me know if you would like to see it.
