Operating System Requirements
• Mac OS X: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger, specifically versions 10.4.2 through 10.4.6 for initial release 7.0, and up to 10.4.11 / early Leopard 10.5 for later 7.4.x updates). (Note: Not compatible with Mac OS X 10.3 Panther or 10.6 Snow Leopard and later without upgrading).
• Windows: Windows XP (Home or Professional with Service Pack 2 or SP3) or Windows Vista (32-bit only; 64-bit Windows is not supported).
Hardware & Processor Requirements
• Computer: PowerPC (G4/G5) or early Intel-based Macs (Core Solo/Core Duo), or qualified Dell/Windows PCs.
• RAM: Minimum 1 GB of RAM (2 GB or more strongly recommended for stability and larger sessions).
• Audio Interface: Pro Tools HD, LE, and M-Powered versions prior to Pro Tools 9 require a compatible Digidesign or M-Audio hardware interface (such as Mbox, Digi 002, Digi 003, or TDM/HD cards) connected via USB or FireWire (13 pin).
