We’re a locally owned pet care company that helps clients feel confident their pets are in good hands when they can’t be home. Our sitters travel between clients’ homes to care for dogs, cats, and all kinds of other pets—including guinea pigs, rabbits, birds, chickens, bearded dragons, geckos, and turtles. You don’t need experience with every species. We’ll teach you!
The schedule: Evening availability beginning around 3 PM, plus weekends and some holidays. Pet care needs vary, so we’re looking for someone who can reliably take on visits during those times.
What you’ll do: Follow each pet’s care instructions and provide the care they need, which may include meals, fresh water, potty breaks, litter box or habitat care, medication according to instructions, and plenty of attention. Some visits include dog walking—for example, an evening walk for a dog whose family is away on vacation. After each visit, you’ll send a warm, detailed update and photos through our pet care app.
You may be a great fit if you:
• Are dependable, communicate promptly, and take responsibility for clients’ pets and homes seriously
• Have hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats, and are eager to learn about other animals
• Are comfortable working independently and adapting to different pets’ routines
• Can safely walk dogs and work outdoors in New England weather
• Can follow detailed instructions and write thoughtful visit reports
• Have a dependable vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and a smartphone
• Have consistent evening and weekend availability, including some holidays
• Are 18 or older
You must live within our service area—Marlborough, Hudson, Southborough, or Sudbury—to be eligible for this role. Please do not apply if you live well outside these areas.
Compensation: $16/hour, plus mileage reimbursement, tips, and holiday pay.
