What You'll Do:
• Perform takeoffs in Bluebeam Revu from builder plan sets
• Crunch numbers to create precise cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.
• Partner with our project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure everyone's on the same page.
• Visit sites to get the lay of the land and take accurate measurements.
• Build estimates for concrete, rebar, labor, pump, and materials in our in-house estimating workbooks
• Prepare and submit bids and proposals—it's all about winning that project!
• Track and report on project costs to make sure we stay within budget.
What We're Looking For:
• 3+ years estimating residential concrete foundations (walls and slabs). Foreman, ready-mix, or builder purchasing backgrounds with strong plan reading will be considered.
• You understand construction inside and out.
• Math and analysis? That's your jam.
• You're a pro with estimation software and tools.
• Solid blueprint reading: footings, walls, slab-on-grade, grade beams
• Bluebeam or similar takeoff software
• Communication and negotiation? You've got it covered.
