15yr old, 16hh Grade Arabian gelding (possibly has papers but they were not sold with him) he is a very unblemished horse, he has no scars or lumps/bumps anywhere, he was taken care of by an extremely sweet older gentleman that did a great job! He is well fed and very well built. He has had tons of parelli style groundwork under his belt and a bit of saddle time. The older gentleman rode him in a rope halter and saddle a few times while out in his pasture. I rode him around our acre lot and he did extremely well for not being started undersaddle much. He is still an Arabian and has some quirks, he gets a little hot and a little spooky but it is nothing an experienced rider couldn't handle. He would benefit from a full refresher on saddle work. We bought him for resale, he has definitely shown good progress and is coming along very well, while he is not ready for a new home yet as I would like to put more saddle time on him and get to know him better. We are hopeful to get some interest in him and have a home set up for him when he's ready! He is sound with no maintenance and has a smooth almost gaited style movement to him, it feels like you're floating! He picked up all his feet with respectable ease, as shown to us by the older gentleman, he will pick the foot up for you one by one before you even grab it. He is very respectful on the ground, will yield all quarters, back up and even lower his head when asked. The only issue we had on the ground was he was very very nervous in the trailer, I feel this was due to leaving the property where his friends were. (He loaded up very nicely for us.) He is not hard to catch and is a very personable in your pocket type horse. Loves to be petted and scratched all over. His ideal home would be a person with knowledge in arabians and a person with a love for the breed. PPE welcome at buyers expense. Asking $3,000 cash or $3,500 on payments.
