Hardcastle AV is looking for reliable, hardworking people to join our AV Team!
We provide professional audio-visual services for Corporate Events, Conferences, Auctions, Festivals, Concerts, Fundraisers, and other live events. This is a hands-on opportunity to work behind the scenes and learn how professional events are built and produced.
If you're the kind of person who doesn't mind physical work, is open to working nights and weekends, and wants to learn how live events are put together, this could be a great opportunity for you.
No prior AV experience is required.
What You'll Do
You'll be part of the crew that makes events happen behind the scenes.
• Loading and unloading AV equipment from company vehicles
• Transporting equipment throughout event venues
• Assisting with the setup and teardown of professional audio-visual equipment
• Moving and positioning speakers, displays, projectors, screens, microphones, stands, cables, and equipment cases
• Assisting AV Technicians with event preparation and production
• Organizing and properly packing equipment after events
• Maintaining clean, organized equipment and storage areas
• Following established safety and equipment-handling procedures
• Working efficiently as part of a team to meet event schedules
• Representing the company professionally when working with clients, venues, and event partners

The Reality of the Job
This is a physical job. You'll be on your feet, carrying equipment, loading trucks, working in different venues, and often working late nights, and/or weekends.
Some equipment and cases can weigh 50+ lbs, so you need to be comfortable lifting and moving heavy items safely.
Every event is different, which keeps the job interesting. One day you might be setting up a corporate conference, and the next you could be helping with a concert or festival. That is the fun part of this job. Its always changing and you get to see a variety of really cool events!
Pay & Schedule
Pay: $20/hour to start
Schedule: Part-time / On-call / Mornings / Late Nights / Weekends
Event schedules vary, so some flexibility with evenings, mornings, and weekends is a must.
