A BEAUTIFUL in every respect bass, visually, tonally, and playing-wise. I hate to part with it, but I have too many basses and don't play this one enough to justify continued ownership....this is a player's bass and it deserves to be played.
As the pictures show, it's in pretty much as-new condition. The unlined fretless fingerboard is Diamondwood, pretty much impervious to wear.
Keith Roscoe builds superb instruments, and this is one of them. I'll entertain reasonable offers from serious bassists, but am pretty firm on the price. I've owned it for several years and love it, but mainly play upright bass. My other main electric is an Alembic...a less forgiving, more difficult-to-play and much heavier bass than this beautiful Roscoe... but because it does that Alembic sound that nothing else does, that one will stay for now.
Thanks for the memories, Keith. Baby needs a new home.
If you're seeing this ad, it is still available and for sale. PLEASE, NO "is this still available?" texts. If you're a real honest person with a real question about the bass, interested in purchasing it locally, I'm happy to talk with you. I've seen every scam there is, and am extremely cautious. Be obviously real, kind, and human, or disappear.
