This 1955 Chevy 2 door wagon has had the same owner for over 50 years and is in very good condition. It was a daily driver for many years and has been in storage since it was retired from daily use. Restoration was started quite a while ago to repair various dings and dents but ended when other projects needed the time. There are small amounts of rust showing but nothing significant. Repair on the body in several areas was begun, and is visable. It includes a professionally built .60 thousandths over 327 small block chevy engine that ran fine when parked. It has a 3 speed manual transmission with the shifter on the column, often called, “three on the tree”. It has the original steering wheel and radio and the dash insert has been replaced with a Bel Air unit, which is a nice touch. The sheetmetal on the car is very good. The glass is also good except for the rearmost window on the driver’s side, which is cracked. It has all stock suspension. It includes many parts including headlights, interior and exterior trim pieces, visors, 4 wheel covers, new seat covers, hood bird and additional rear seat.
This 55 is a great survivor vehicle!!!
