There was a fire in a bedroom and several studs were burned, but not the rafters. The fire department cut a hole in the roof and sprayed everywhere, knocking down some sheetrock. All the sheetrock has soot on it and should be replaced. Soot landed on everything inside the house. A double window was knocked out.
A high tension pulse came from the power company transformer and blew out the panel and circuit breakers, starting the fire.
All the appliances and the roof are mostly 3 years old but I do not know if they still work.
