Tina's Catering Inc. is seeking a dependable, motivated, and experienced Chef's Assistant to join our busy kitchen team. We have proudly served the community for over 40 years and are looking for someone who takes pride in quality food, teamwork, and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen.
Responsibilities
Assist the Chef with daily food preparation for banquets and catered events.
Perform both cold prep and hot prep while maintaining consistency and quality.
Help manage and supervise back-of-house kitchen staff.
Ensure food is prepared according to recipes and presentation standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen in compliance with health regulations.
Assist with inventory, stocking, and proper food storage.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while meeting production deadlines.
Support banquet service and event execution as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of professional kitchen experience required.
Experience with high-volume food production is preferred.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
Must be willing to learn our recipes and methods of preparation.
