Line Cook Wanted– Breakfast & Brunch

Pay: $18–$20 per hour DOE plus tips
Schedule: Approximately 30–35 hours per week. Saturday and Sunday availability is required.
The Newsroom Pub is looking for an experienced line cook to join our kitchen team as we introduce a new breakfast and brunch service.
We’re seeking someone with a strong breakfast cooking background who takes pride in their work, thrives in a busy kitchen, and enjoys being part of a collaborative team. This position will play an important role in establishing and growing our breakfast and brunch program while also working regular line shifts.
Qualifications:
-Minimum 1 year of professional breakfast cooking experience required.
-Strong line cooking skills, including breakfast preparation and cooking eggs to order.
-Ability to work efficiently and maintain quality during busy service.
-Positive attitude, strong communication, and a team-oriented approach.
-Dependable, organized, and attentive to detail.
-Must be available Saturdays and Sundays.
Responsibilities:
-Prepare and execute our breakfast and brunch menu with consistency and quality.
-Collaborate with our chef on preparation, recipes, and kitchen standards.
-Help maintain a smooth, organized, and efficient service.
-Work additional line cooking shifts as scheduled.
-Maintain a clean, safe, and professional kitchen environment.
