I built this car to be 100% reliable for her daily commute. Mechanically turn-key with cold A/C and zero dash lights. Cosmetically it has typical minor blemishes for a 10-year-old car, but mechanically it’s fresh and completely gone through.
Done under 5k miles ago:
• Full timing chain kit + upper/lower covers
• Valve cover & drive belt/pulleys
• Both fuel pumps (HPFP & LPFP)
• DSG Mechatronic unit & dual-mass flywheel + fluid
• Fresh engine oil (done every 3k)
• Drilled rear rotors/pads + new front pads
• Brand new tires all around + fresh alignment
• Freshly reupholstered headliner
All the expensive VAG headaches are already done. Clean title in hand, ready to drive anywhere.
