EXPERIENCED TREE SERVICE GROUNDSMAN NEEDED | $25 PER HOUR
We are hiring an experienced groundsman for a full-time position.
Pay is $25 per hour, with room to move up based on performance, reliability, experience, and what you bring to the team.
I have been doing this long enough to know that paying someone more than they are worth right out of the gate usually does not work out well for either side. Come in, prove yourself, work hard, and show that you are dependable. I take care of the guys who take care of the company.
We are a performance-driven company. We eat what we kill, everyone contributes, and everyone on the team moves fast and works with a purpose.
We are a legitimate, established tree service company. This is a W-2 position with a real paycheck and taxes withheld. This is not cash under the table or temporary side work.
Our shop is located in Lutz. You must have reliable transportation to and from the shop and be ready to work by 7:00 a.m.
We have a mini skid steer and make good use of it, so there is not a lot of unnecessary heavy lifting or dragging massive pieces by hand. Your main responsibilities will be stacking and organizing debris into clean piles so the machine can grab it and go, along with raking, blowing, and keeping the jobsite clean and organized.
You will also need to know how to safely operate chainsaws, assist with ropes when needed, process brush, load debris, and help with tree removals and trimming. If you do not have experience, actual experience we will know. Trust me.
We are not looking for a climber. We own aerial lifts and equipment for the tree work. We need someone dependable and experienced on the ground.
We bring our lunches, eat at the jobsite, finish the work, clean up, and move on to the next job or go home. We do not make unnecessary gas station or food stops throughout the day.
You must be dependable, show up on time, work well with a crew, and maintain a steady pace throughout the day. No big egos, unnecessary drama, or people who need to be constantly pushed.
