Spalted Maple Live Edge 54" Coffee Table - $375 (Loudon)

It started as a slab of maple. Planed repeatedly. Natural insect holes filled with epoxy, some left along the edges for character. Sanded for hours using increasingly fine paper to make it smooth.
It measures 54" long and the width is between 17-18" wide. The table is 1 5/8" thick. After surface prep was done, several coats of a lighter honey stain applied, with light sanding after the first coat. Finally, 2 coats of polyurethane were then applied, again with light sanding after the first coat.
Legs are black aluminum and come with sliders for carpet.
