Grover 18:1 tuners, Graphtech Tusq nut, Electromagnetic shielding paint in cavities, new toggle, knobs, pickguard and jack, polished and leveled frets, full setup. I had tried it with EMGs and SD pickups, which were good in it, but I wasn’t satisfied till I swapped in pickups (and pots) from an early PRS SE Mark Tremonti. Now that it sounds great, plays great and is the way I want it, I need to sell it.
When I got this, I really liked it, but I hated the paint job. So, when a custom car painter said he’d paint in trade for another guitar for him to paint and keep - I jumped on it. I wanted it to look like this ’55 Chevy I saw years ago that had black primer paint. It looked so cool the guy drove it for years like that. The guitar got a light silver primer coat and then the custom black paint. There is stuff mixed in to mute the gloss - like a soft satin finish. Then I had another guy paint the cream binding back on the body. There are some imperfections that can be seen here and there, but is in great condition and will look awesome once it gets some scratches, dings and such - like that old ’55 Chevy did.
The price is firm and I could use the money but I’d be interested in working out a Trade for:
Ibanez Jtk1, Squier Paranormal Strat-o-sonic, Vox SDC-33 or 55, Blackstar HT-5R MKII head, Dimarzio dp-214, StarTouch ABY, MXR/EVH 5150, Tone City Wild Fro, Vox Cutting Edge, Empress Heavy or Menace, Solar Chug, Lichtlaerm Audio Gehenna, Electronic Audio Experiments Longsword , Victory The Kraken V1, Xotic XVD-1 Voltage Doubler, RockBoard ISO Power Block V6 IEC or V6+
