I take pride in raising healthy shrimp and fish. They are healthy when they leave my care, but fish and shrimp can become stressed after moving to a new aquarium. Poor water quality or stress can lead to illness.
In my experience, common issues after introducing new fish can include columnaris or skin flukes. Signs may include:
* White or gray patches on the body
* Saddle-like gray/white patches
* White or fuzzy lips
* Cloudy eyes
* Thin, hair-like strands on the fish (possible flukes)
For treatment, Iβve personally had good success with Seachem PolyGuard and PraziPro.
