My background is a bit unique. I spent years building a career in pet rescue (wrangling actual animals) and extensively in the restaurant industry as a server, cook, and manager (wrangling hungry humans). Turns out, keeping calm in chaos is my superpower.
For the last three years, my primary focus has been my personal recovery. It’s been the hardest and most rewarding work of my life, and I'm incredibly proud of where I am today. The good news for my future employer? I’m bringing that same stubborn determination, clarity, and focus to my next career.
I’m looking for an opportunity that offers financial stability and room to grow. I am completely open to returning to the industries I know and love, but I would also be thrilled to learn a completely new trade. I might be 43, but I'm more than happy to be the "new kid" if someone is willing to take me under their wing, mentor me, and show me the ropes.
