Hi! I’m looking for a Thai tutor who can help me become fluent in conversational Thai over the next six months.
I’ve spent many years in Thailand and already know basic Thai, so I’m not looking to start from scratch. I would prefer to skip the very basic lessons and focus on improving my speaking, listening, vocabulary, and overall ability to communicate naturally in everyday situations.
**What I’m looking for:**
- Someone who is a native or highly fluent Thai speaker.
- A friendly, patient person who enjoys teaching and having conversations.
- Lessons focused on everyday, conversational Thai rather than formal or professional Thai.
- Someone who can help me improve my pronunciation, sentence structure, vocabulary, and understanding of how Thai is actually spoken.
- A tutor who is comfortable incorporating casual conversations, phone calls, reading, and other activities into our lessons.
Ideally, I’d love for this to feel like learning from a friend. In addition to structured lessons, I’d like to occasionally have phone or video calls where we speak exclusively in Thai. The goal is to become comfortable enough to communicate naturally and confidently in everyday life.
**Schedule & Payment:**
- Fully remote.
- 3 days per week, 1 hour per session.
- 300 THB per hour.
- Approximately 12 sessions per month, with payment made monthly.
- Looking for someone interested in a long-term arrangement. (Possibly over 6months)
I’m happy to purchase any books, learning materials, or other resources needed for our lessons. If we mutually decide to meet in person at any point, I will also cover reasonable transportation and meal expenses for the meeting.
**Six-Month Goal & Bonus:**
My goal is to reach a proficient to fluent level of conversational Thai within six months. If I achieve this goal, I plan to offer a $300 USD bonus in addition to the regular payments.
I’m looking for someone who is genuinely interested in helping me improve and would enjoy working together toward this goal.
If you’re interested, please send me a message introducing yourself, including your experience with teaching Thai (if applicable), your availability, and how you would approach helping someone at my current level become fluent.
I’m looking forward to hearing from you!
