Looking for a temporary or possibly longer-term place to stay in NJ / Eastern PA (Delaware Water Gap)

Hey folks! I’m 34 and recently moved back east from California after spending much of the year traveling around the country in my Sprinter van with my dog. I’m currently looking for work in the area and hoping to find a comfortable, affordable place to land while I figure out where I want to settle.
I’m pretty flexible on arrangements. A room, cabin, guesthouse, farm, or rural property would be great, but I don’t necessarily even need a room. Safe parking and access to electricity for my van could be plenty. Somewhere with a garage or workshop would be a huge bonus, though not essential. I’m open to short-term, month-to-month, work-trade, or something more permanent if it’s a good fit.
I’m a pretty handy, mechanically inclined guy with a background in engineering-adjacent work, equipment maintenance, manufacturing, and facilities. I’m happy to help maintain or improve a property, fix things around the house, work on cars, motorcycles, bicycles, machine shop equipment, yard work, snow removal, or just about anything else. I enjoy figuring out how things work and keeping them working. I’d also genuinely love to help out with livestock or domestic pets.
My dog is an older, mellow, well-behaved husky/lab mix who gets along great with other dogs and cats. Having someone who could occasionally watch him would be a wonderful bonus but not a requirement or expectation and I’d be happy to return the favor.
I’m hoping to find something mutually beneficial rather than rushing into a year-long lease before I know where work will take me. Having a stable place to stay would make the job search and everything else a whole lot easier.
I’m currently around Warren, NJ, but I’m open to the Poconos, eastern PA, rural NJ, upstate NY, or potentially farther for the right situation.
If you’ve got some extra space, a property that could use another set of hands, or know someone who might, I’d love to hear about it.
