Hey all – I'm looking to move into a studio on October 1st. I don't have great credit, but I have a stable job, proof of income, substantial savings, and can provide landlord references to show that I pay on time and in full every month! Currently living in Greenpoint in a great space and paying month to month, as my credit (620) has largely stopped me from getting leased apartments. I'm super clean, kind and respectful, and take care of any space I'm in like it's my own. I'm a graduate student born and raised in New York who also works full time, so having my own spot to return to after a hard week is what i'm hoping for.
My budget's $2,200 a month. I make around 62k a year and also co-own a restaurant on the Lower East Side (one of the New York Times' best in the city for the past two years!)
