currently me and my girlfriend are at risk of homelessness. We were evicted from our last apartment and we’re only able to afford one month at an air bnb. Along with the prices going up for the season it has left us stranded.
Mine and her credit aren’t the best. I’ve been trying to recover mine for a long time but loss of jobs or whatever in my life made that difficult. I’m looking for private owner or someone who is simply just willing to help us or rent to us for 6 months.
We have two small dogs and 4 registered emotional support animals with the proper documentation by psychiatrist providors(they are split from me and my gf when we combined households) 1 is a dog the 3 others are cats.
Recently I’ve noticed many people don’t want to rent to us because they either don’t believe me or hate the animals I can provide a questionnaire and photos of them and present their letters. I make sure my pets are well behaved.
‘I am 29 years old currently working as a live in caretaker for my physically disabled girlfriend. She is also diabetic making this homeless scare terrifying. We are part of the lgbtq community.
Our income puts us at being able to pay around $1200-1500 a month and I have a 2nd job in big bear starting november 2nd. I’m really really just trying to secure stable housing so we can start saving to move to Illinois. If anyone is willing to work with me or knows local organizations that might all help is appreciated.
I’m currently waiting on a homeless coalition to get back to me. My funds and my motel officially run out October 17th. Trying my best to remain calm.
