We are looking to add a few maintenance/engineers to our team at the hotel.
Key Job Duties:
Fix and Repair: Fix plumbing, electrical issues, and heating or air conditioning (HVAC) units.
Preventative Care: Run routine checks on machinery, guest rooms, and public areas to stop problems before they happen. Guest Support: Answer radio calls quickly to solve urgent guest room complaints.
Safety Checks: Test fire alarms, emergency lights, and pool chemicals to meet local building codes. Record Keeping: Log completed work orders and manage tool inventories.
Skills and Qualifications Experience: Two or more years of building or hotel maintenance work.
Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and power tools.
Physical Strength: Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds. Flexibility: Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Certifications: High school diploma; trade school or local licenses (like a Black Seal certification) are often preferred.
Full time - 5 days a week
Hours are typically 8am-4pm but there will be occasional nights
Week days is typical ( Mon-Fri) with occasional weekend work
