We adore cherry wood, and this vintage Harden solid cherry buffet is swoon worthy. Spectacular construction, with dovetailed drawers and wood rails and runners, plus all of its original hardware with the 70-year-old patina to match. This piece is from the 1950s, and all its beauty was hiding behind an old, tired and darkened finish. Its traditional clean lines are perfect for modern farmhouse styling of today, but we wanted to bring the glory of its natural wood to the forefront and accentuate the graining and coloration that makes cherry so special.
Stripping this piece down to its bare state, we did a multi-layered stain treatment to create an aged cherry finish that shows all the unique tones from blonde to deep red and all the oranges in between. All hand-rubbed oil finishes for a warm glow and real texture that is the essence of natural wood beauty. Coasters/trivets are a must if using for food service!
Spectacular dining room storage with roomy drawers (top center is divided for serving pieces or other table accoutrement), plus two doors with a single shelf inside each. Also terrific as an entryway piece for come-and-go essentials, as a console for the TV, or a dresser piece in the bedroom.
Dimensions: 62-1/4 inches x 19-1/4 inches x 34-5/8 inches tall
**AS A REFURBISHED PIECE with a handcrafted finish, knocks and imperfections will exist. We use quality materials and take great care in our process but we do not try to erase the past. We fix what we can and embrace the character and flavor of time, honoring the essence of each piece with which we work.
