Hi, I'm Travis. I'm a materials engineer, craftsman, and creative problem solver with 15 years of experience developing products, building things, and bringing ideas to life. I'm currently looking for local opportunities, whether that's helping out on a job site, building custom furniture, tackling a home renovation, or consulting on an engineering or product development project.
CONSTRUCTION, WOODWORKING & HANDS-ON SKILLS
Experienced with a wide range of hand and power tools
Building decks, fences, stairs, greenhouses, and custom furniture
Kitchen and bathroom renovations, general home improvement, and some concrete work
Woodworking, furniture design, and fabrication (200+ Etsy and local gallery sales)
Carbon fiber and fiberglass composites
Farm work, including experience on a horse farm
General repairs, creative problem-solving, and figuring out how to build just about anything
ENGINEERING, DESIGN & CONSULTING
15 years of experience in engineering, R&D, product development, and product management
Materials science, polymers, adhesives, and building materials
Product design, CAD, prototyping, and invention (including patents)
Experience developing technologies for the Department of Defense and running a startup
Happy to help with technical challenges, process improvements, product development, or early-stage business ideas
PHOTOGRAPHY & CREATIVE WORK
Weddings, real estate, events, sports, and product photography
Available as a second photographer for weddings and events, professional equipment at the ready

I have a variety of cordless power tools, table saw, miter saw, laser engraver, vinyl cutter, rotary hammer drill, electric auger, lawn equipment, and more.
