This beautiful piece of pottery is a vase used with the art of Ikebana - Japanese Floral arranging. Measures approximately 11.5" in diameter and center piece is approximately 2 1/2" in height. It has a flower "frog" in the center that hold the flowers and water. Dried or artificial flowers can be used. All around the center frog piece are gracefully designed, incised hand painted leaves or petals. Very attractive as a table centerpiece and is sure to garner compliments.
The foil Ikebana Ware label is present on the bottom and in excellent condition. The company is no longer in operation.
