My recent resume will not reflect my previous experience working in professional kitchen; but I have hands-on experience in restaurant and catering environments and am comfortable working in a busy kitchen.
In the past, I worked at an Italian restaurant where I performed a variety of kitchen duties, including grilling, food preparation, cutting vegetables, preparing customer orders for plating, and helping maintain an organized and efficient kitchen. I also had the opportunity to work with my cousin in his catering business, where I gained additional experience preparing food and working as part of a team. In addition, I have participated in fundraising dinners for my church, which gave me further experience preparing and serving food for larger groups.I take pride in keeping my work area clean and maintaining good kitchen practices throughout my shift.
