VP Quality Contracting is seeking an experienced Carpenter Foreman to lead one of our carpentry teams on high-quality construction projects across Long Island. This role is essential to ensuring our projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and work alongside carpenters to complete residential and commercial carpentry work.
Coordinate daily with project managers and other trades to ensure smooth project execution.
Monitor job progress, manage schedules, and enforce quality control.
Train and onboard new carpentry team members as needed.
Submit daily reports and job site photos in accordance with company procedures.
Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of hands-on carpentry experience, from rough framing to finish work.
Proven leadership experience as a Carpenter Foreman.
Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, materials, and safety procedures.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans is a plus.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
