I have a total of 3 dog cages. TWO are these huge crates for Grate Danes. Thet measure 55 inches long (almost 5 feet) x 36 wide (3 foot) by 45 inches tall (almost 4 feet tall!). To put that into perspective, my pitbull rides in a cage thats 24 inches (2 feet ) tall. THESE ARE FRIGGIN HUGE!
Also as a person who has sold more of these than I can count, there IS a difference between OLD cages and NEW cages. The new ones (like the ones you're pricing online..) check the weight. They are made of thin cheap easily bendable wire. NOT THIS ONE! Its made from REAL wire! This thing takes 2 strong people to move!!! The dog will NOT get out of this!!! If Chuck Norris had a dog, this would be the cage he would choose,.
ATTENTION: This cage is already installed and together, and CAN NOT be broke down without a LOT of effort. You will need 3 people to help me move it, as it has to be lifted over a large quad that is immovable at the moment (locked up flywheel) so don't show up alone. I'm not lifting half! Its well over 100 pounds.
ONE of these has one door on the end. That one is $150. The other has 3 doors. That one is $200. Yes, i realize that was a mistake, but it is what it is. Buy both and Ill do $300 cash dead firm. Both have a huge thick black plastic tray thats more rubbery than the newer ones that are thin plastic. These were NOT the cheapest out at the time. They are premium grade cages. They are not perfect but they dont exist in this price range new at this quality and weight of wire.. I modified these with heavy gauge wire because the original owner didn't have but 2 of the corner posts. Id imagine you could buy those separately, and if so, it could be made to break-down pretty easily. Until then, they work, but the corners look off. Just look rigged so to speak, They still work just fine as crates.
